Radical Muslim Terrorist Attack in Salt Lake City

By now I'm sure you've heard of the horrible events that happened at the Trolley Shopping Center in Salt Lake City, Utah on almost any news outlet on television. You most likely heard how he was a refugee from the fighting in Bosnia, and how he grew up without the influence of a father and how he was a loner who had no friends and how he walked into a crowded shopping mall with a backpack full of ammunition, a shotgun and a pistol and killed 5 innocent Americans and wounded several others.

What you aren't going to hear, at least not for a while, is that Sulejman Talovic was a Muslim. That's right. He was a Muslim who committed an act of terrorism in the United States. All over the world radical Muslims have declared war on our country, and their tactic of choice is terrorism. That is, the attacking of innocent Americans where ever they can strike them. This sounds like the kind of thing you hear the Palestinians doing to the Israelis......I guess it is starting to come home to us.

Listen closely and see which national news program says it first. It won't be the last time we talk about a Muslim destroying the lives of Americans in our homeland.

The Salt Lake City shooting is another instance of the media pushing their biased agenda upon society. Due to many factors, the world’s society is at a huge loss for true accurate reporting of events by the media. Only with a concerted effort by individuals will the media be forced to change it biased news coverage for one of accurate and non biased events coverage.

It is human nature to choose the path of least resistance. And with humans choosing the path of least resistance most people choose to listen to and absorb what information they see and hear without question. This habit allows the media to feed only the information it’s biased self serving needs desire.

In the case of Muslim nations news and information is provided and influenced by their religious leaders. This is biased to religious and political needs. The same can be said for KCNA, the news agency of North Korea, which is run by the DPRK government. Also Tass from the Soviet Union was a state run agency spinning stories to serve the governments needs. In western society agencies such as CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, etc..; force their bent views on society in the guise of reporting facts and events. Understandably, from the networks point of view, the reported news will be dictated by the need for ratings and ad sales.

In an interview with CNN, Katie Couric, the Anchor of CBS “Evening News” stated "When there is so much emphasis on ratings, it's hard for true journalism to survive. She also stated “that she would rather talk with world leaders than with movie stars. But the climate is such that there's so much emphasis on ratings, that that's hard to do.” (http://www.discoverthenetwork.org/individualProfile.asp?indid=633)

Perhaps someday the media will actually report just facts in a true no spin format. Until then ratings, money, and the private bias of network management will fuel the issue of how the news is reported and spun. Reality and facts will continue to be pushed aside in favor of ratings. Hopefully people will become weary of being fed their realities. Instead they will use resources such as the Web, other news outlets, and personal common sense to do draw their own conclusions by piecing together the news from many different sources.

Perhaps then people will stand up and change the world in a positive and reality driven way. Only then will the various centers of information distribution begin reporting “the whole truth and nothing but the truth.” Until then the masses will follow the ill informed private agenda driven sources of news distribution.

As long as people follow the path of least resistance, current events such as the Muslim terrorist murdering innocent people in Salt Lake City will continue to be reported in the spin zone of private agenda, and half truths. My question is this: What is it called when a person omits, or only tells part of the truth? That is called a half truth, correct? Therefore, what is the omitted or untrue half of a half truth called?

It’s called a lie!

….you decide.
