Unfortunately yes. Everyone knows that the Democratic National Committee held their Winter Meetings in Washington DC last week, and most Americans have now heard the it was the first time since 2001 that President Bush attended. Every national news agency reported and scrutinized every word he said. Not surprising for a group that leans far to the left and normally advocates only the liberal side of an issue. So it should not come as a great shock to many, or maybe it should actually, to learn of an aspect of those meetings that is emerging....the DNC Winter Meetings were opened by an invocation delivered by an Imam of the Karbala Islamic Education Center and advisor to the leader of the Iran-backed Supreme Council for Islamic Revolution, Shi'ite Husham Al-Husainy.
Al-Husainy was an aircraft engineer in Iraq, and since moving to Dearborn, Michigan he has become the radical cleric of one of the largest mosques in America and has gained respect as a respected Islamic leader here and abroad. During the past war between Israel and the Hezbollah, he gained notoriety leading the protests of Hezbollah supports from Dearborn to Detroit. Every year there is a fundraising event held in Dearborn that raises money for the A-Sadr Foundation............and Al-Husainy is a big time contributor.
In the course of his invocation, he called on Allah to "..guide us to the right path. The path of the people you bless, not the path of the people you doom." All the while, pious and patriotic Democrats stood solemnly with their heads bowed. Who are the people who take the path of "the people who [Allah] doom"...why Christians and Jews and Americans and the British and every other sovereign nation in the West. This has been said time and again, on international TV and radio, by the biggest leaders in the Muslim world. Their view and goal is the domination of the West by Islam. Ask anyone what the attitude of the existence of the state of Israel is from a Muslim.
If you are a Democrat, you should be angry, for this is a new idea in the development of your political representation, at least it is to me. And it was not just some obscure Congressman (Congressperson?) from a backwoods state out west somewhere....this was the Democratic National Committee's Winter Meetings in the Nation's capital. I am not a Democrat, but I would propose that your political party is in the process of being hijacked by radical Islamic cleric.....the winter meetings was mainstream approval and affiliation by your party with those who undeniably and unabashedly have declared war on the country you live in.
Any American, Democrat or Republican or whatever, should have been disgusted and walked out! By staying you are showing consent and approval for the message of the meetings. Any of the Dems in attendance.........Howard Dean, Harry Reid, Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton, John Edwards and Barak Obama to name a few, should have walked out and held a press conference stating that they are against the radical rants of Islamic clerics!!
I can't imagine this kind of representation is what the core of the Democratic Party's constituents want, but if it is then I would like to know why....

What the heck is happening? I must be so old fashioned that I'm not flexible enough to understand what we as a nation are thinking. I believe we are in a war, and its not a religious war as the terrorist would like for you to believe. They are using the Muslim religion to get through the door and from behind the sheep's clothing the wolf will come. Having a Muslim open the Democrat Winter meeting with a prayer is not the end of the world, but it could be the beginning of the end. We should not trust one thing that you hear from a Muslim mouth. They should not be allowed to taint our way of life or influence our children. At this point of our American history, they have declared war on our way of life and the ground that freedom was founded on is in danger of collapse. I am talking about commitment and we don't have the stomach to with stand the tenacious attacks that these radical Muslims are continually shoving up our ass on a daily basis. If you watch the nightly news you will see that these guys have proven they will go the extra mile to proof they can not be deterred. There will come a time, and that time is near, that we will have to take a serious look at Muslims and their beliefs. I know it is not fair to single out all Muslims, but why don't they police themselves. I don't hear any uprising of good Muslims standing up and telling their fellow Muslims to stop the killing of our children. Stop the suicide bombings. You know why, I believe it is because they are sympathetic to their cause. So, by playing scared, they will win in the long run. I will say this, I do not hate Muslims. I do hate cowards that let this senseless killing proceed. Our country wouldn't be what it is today if our forefathers had kept their mouths shut. You have to stand up for what is right.
So, Mr. Al-Husalny, do what is right and stand on a box of soap and preach to your Muslim brothers about peace and freedom. We don't need you to preach to us, you need to take your opinion and voice back to Iraq and spread the word.
As far as the American's, we need to spread the word also. Every Muslim you come into contact with, you needs to explain how this fight for freedom works. You have to be load to be heard. Muslims need to request TV, radio, and newspaper time and space. If you are to survive in this world you must convince your terrorist brother to separate themselves from your religion. They should not be allowed to hide behind you, for you will be the one we see.
